A Psi-Vamp is a person who cannot produce enough ‘Prana’ within their chakra system to sustain their energy levels.
Lack of Pranic energy for a Psi-Vamp means feeling severely exhausted and open to illness. To combat this problem Psi-Vamps
“feed” off of other sources of Prana via their Aura and Chakra system. Sanguinarian Vampires feed off of fresh
blood as this is the purest form of Pranic energy available.
Prana is a Sanskrit word which literally means 'life-force' and is the energy that is needed by all beings (including animals
and plants) to survive and live long, healthy lives.
If Psi-Vamps do not “feed” then withdrawal symptoms will result; most Psi-Vamps do not even realise that they
are “feeding” from others (known as unconscious feeding) but may notice that people seem to be drained whenever
they are within their aura space for any length of time.
A Psi-Vamps ‘Awakening’ usually occurs between the ages of 13-25; this is when symptoms of general ill-health
start to present themselves (due to chronic lack of energy) and an increased sensitivity to people’s emotions and atmospheres
are felt. Eating disorders are also common as a newly awakened or unaware Psi-Vamp may mistake Prana hunger for food hunger
resulting in binge eating. Paradoxically it can also result in under eating as feeding on Prana energy can satisfy a Psi-Vamp
and the necessity for food is forgotten due to a lack of appetite for physical food.
Psi-Vamps naturally have a more in-depth knowledge of the human psyche and the ethereal body and their moods quickly match
the tone of the company that they are with. They also have a more developed 6th sense with heightened senses in the fields
of Clairvoyance, Clairsentience and Clairaudience. They also have increased stamina and endurance especially when one has
just fed.
The intense and draining energy of the sun is uncomfortable to Psi-Vamps and as a result their natural body clocks are more
attuned to being awake at night. Large crowds are also avoided unless it is necessary for the Psi-Vamp to feed as sensory
overload can be a problem due to the immense amount of Prana that is cast off by groups as a result of heightened emotions
and activity. Overdose of Pranic energy symptoms include nausea, dizziness, headaches and a general feeling of ‘wooziness’
and/or disassociation.
Psi-Vamps are well practiced in living among us in secrecy. They appear “normal” with no distinguishing physical
features. Paleness is a common factor as sunlight is mostly avoided and a solitary lifestyle is mostly sought as not only
their own but other peoples emotions are felt more intensely.
